Why We Started Smart Tax Group
Too many business owners come to us after years of working with accountants who treated them like a number — outsourcing their returns, missing deductions, and leaving them with surprise tax bills. We built Smart Tax Group to be the opposite of that experience.
Our two founding partners are federally licensed enrolled agents with decades of combined experience preparing taxes and guiding businesses through growth, restructuring, and compliance challenges. Every client relationship is personal. Every return is reviewed by a licensed professional. Nothing is ever outsourced.
From our office in Montclair, NJ, we serve businesses across the United States — bringing the same level of care and precision to a solo practitioner in California as we do to a multi-member LLC down the street.
